Family Time Visitation

The Family Time Visitation Program provides a safe positive atmosphere where parents, who have been referred by the Department of Social Services, may interact with their children in a safe structured environment, while receiving education and support to enhance their interactions, parenting and life skills.

Positive and Structured Visits

The visitation staff provides a positive atmosphere where parents and children may interact in a safe structured environment. Visits held in a visitation facility as deemed appropriate by the referring agency and other parties involved in the child’s case taking into consideration the child’s physical safety and emotional well-being.

Family Time Visitation Objectives:

Ensure that all children removed from their parents have opportunity to visit their parents/siblings on a regular basis

Strengthen and increase the parent’s ability to provide for the emotional and physical needs as well as the safety of their children

Provide accurate and timely information in the child’s case so that informed decision may be made regarding reunification and permanency for the child
